After a few years, I noticed it started to rust but that was years. It's a good trash can if you need it in a small office or bathroom space.Although I like the style, the lid doesn’t line up perfectly and seems like it’s crooked and doesn’t shut perfectly. Also, the step doesn’t work too well where I’d prefer it on my shaggy carpet. Still I like it overall and it fits my office but it’s not perfect.Perfect for a bathroom. It’s sturdy/stable enough to stay put when stepping on the peddle. It has a soft/slow close- it’s doesn’t slam shut ?? . You can remove the hard plastic liner with the little handle to make it easy to empty. I’m planning to buy another for a different bathroom.We use this in my son’s bathroom. Since he doesn’t have much trash it’s the perfect little size. It doesn’t take up much space and holds just enough for him. It’s an adorable little Ken and it is a little so pay attention to size and dimensions. It would be great under a small desk, a kids room, or a small bathroom that doesn’t have a whole lot of trash. It’s very well-made and attractive looking. The little foot pedal works well.
