According to my contractor, I needed something "fatter" or mas "grueso" in Spanish. That's when I found this little baby. She is just fat enough to work in a farmhouse sink and is pretty enough for oohs and aahs. My only wish is that she came in brass to match my faucet. This is a niche that no one has filled. I couldn't find any disposal flanges in the extended style in brass. I even considered welding a brass one I bought that was too small to a stainless extended, but that seemed extreme even for me. Plus, no welder would do it. So, note for the manufacturer if they want to make some money, do an estended flange in brass. The bronze I bought only works in my case because I mixed metals in my house. Some others looking for brass would just give up or have to change their faucet.Great product if you have a sink with more depth. I have a stone farmhouse sink that is significantly thicker than a traditional sink and this worked flawlessly for this application. The only reason I gave 4 stars is I din't like the cover that comes with it since removing it leaves the disposal exposed. If you have one keep the original rubber cover from the disposal or buy one like it. I replaced the disposal at the same time so I had a new rubber cover with the disposal.Beautiful set with matte black coloringA little worried about paint chips:scratches but so far so good. Worked perfect for farmhouse sink but makes no sense to be this expensive when standard size is under $20.Like many who had to purchase this item due to having a thicker sink, we are absolutely happy with the quality. The finish is polished chrome and looks great in our white clay farmhouse sink. I did tons of research and this was by far the least expensive on the market. To be honest, I think I like the clean look more than the OEM which has the Insinkator writings. It's been 2 weeks of use, and all it takes is a swipe with the sponge and it's like new again.When we redid our kitchen, we put a farmer's sink in place, and the collar for our In-Sinkerator was just too short for the throat of the sink. I'd never seen anything like it, and I wince now thinking of how much I tried to force it (and could have cracked the sink in the process. This did the trick. Well worth the money.We have a farm house sink and needed the deep one. This one fits perfect, looks nice and works great. Careful when you clean it because I scrubbed some of the paint off with the ruff part of a sponge and its ended up showing more brass color. If you want it lighter/more brushed bronze look then you can make it happen with a sponge.Rubbed bronze color was spot on to match our faucet. Unfortunately, the stopper has come apart and no longer works properly. If it is in, the drain is plugged, it can no longer used as a strainer. Lasted 8 months.Awesome! I love the unlaquered brass. This is a great looking sink flange. And no words mucking it up, looks awesome in my Rohl fireclay farmhouse sink.
