I absolutely love the electric composter. I’ve been an avid gardener for 40 Plus years and have always had a compost bin for veggie scrapes and yard waste. It goes without saying that compost is great for the soil, but equally important is that food waste does not end up in a landfill. I’m semi-retired now living in a gated community where the landscaping is largely taken care of, and a compost bin is pretty much out of the question. I should also mention that roughly 2 years ago I started juicing, but I stopped because of the large amount of pulp it creates; way too much for a disposal and I felt guilty throwing the waste into the trash.A couple of months ago I started investigating electric composters and after doing some research purchased this one from Amazan. It’s heavy and very well built, and the 4 Liter capacity is perfect for my needs. It’s been a game changer, I put in the food waste, pulp and solids from juicing, coffee grounds and eggshells (a little calcium never hurt), push on auto-function and 6 hours later I have wonderful compost which I add to my container plants. The plants are looking healthier, and I feel good knowing I’m saving 100s of pounds a year of plant waste from going into landfills. I couldn’t be happier! I whole heartily recommend the 4-litter electric composter for anyone who cares about the environment but doesn’t have the space of need for a traditional compost bin. Finally, I should mention that it is a good-looking machine, and I’ve had no issues with odors aside from the rich smell of compost when adding it to my plants.
