I was toying with the idea of buying these pretty much used cards for 40 bones. Then I looked at buying the unopened packages, but those are 1 pack for at least 5 dollars with shipping and have 20 year old gum in them. After I wasted my money buying The new edition not getiing the nostalgic feeling I was looking for, I broke and got these for 40 dollars.It was well worth it for me. I don't know if it was just luck, but there were no duplicates. There were the same character drawings with different names, but no exact duplicates. I even recognized some of them from my childhood. I also enjoy the comics on the back and the "Would We Lie to You" faux mini news prints. These also come in a handy plastic case. If you loved garbage pail kids as much as I did, this is definitely worth it!
