Really like this trash can. Has a great shape so that it fits against the wall better then our previous one. Motion detection is great almost too good at times but id rather it work then not. Only problem I have is finding bags with a wide enough mouth to fit. I have to really stretch the bags to get them around the can.Looks great when closed. The lid is formed unevenly and has a small dent, makes noise when it closes.I have been using this daily since purchasing last August for $100! Initially I felt it was overpriced & just okay with respect to appearance, perceived durability etc... If I’d written review then, I would have given 3 ⭐️. Glad I waited- I love this thing! I live w/2 teenage boys, hubby & 2 slobbering Mastiffs who man-handle every stainless kitchen appliance & I’m constantly polishing other “no print” surfaces. But this finish is the real deal. While it does show splash marks, it wipes clean w/little effort & NO STREAKING ?! The interior bucket removes for emptying easily & no slam lid’s a bonus! FTR- I’m a deal seeker~ coupon clipper & paid $20 more for this van than it’s current ad price... but still no buyer remorse!We really love this trash can in the black stainless. It is everything that is expected of it. The lid opens quickly and closes as it should.The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because it had a small dent in the front of it and the metal could be thicker as our last one was.Trash can looks great and works like a charm. Unfortunately mine arrived damaged and continued to get worse but I contacted the seller and they quickly issued a full refund and let me keep the product. We will use the trash can as long as we can and will probably re-order. Its a great trash can! Shipping did take a while but was very pleased once it arrived.The motion detection and lid operation, opening and closing, is very good. The shortcomings of this can are pretty much everything else. The bottom base looks like it doesn't belong to the can. On the bottom are two key hole slots like you see on something mounted on a wall along with 3" diameter center hole that doesn't seem to have a purpose. The plastic inner can sets, notice I didn't say snaps, into the base. Then the outer white metal part fits over the inner part and sets in the same base. Then the lid fits on top. Nothing is snapped in so if you go to move the can the base and inner can fall out. It just seems like a poor design. I might try to figure out a way to glue the base to the outer can to make this thing work. The motion detection works smoother than any other I've owned but I'm not sure if I want to mess with it after spending $50.It works and looks great. However it's a 13 gallon can, but not a tall 13 gallon. It's difficult to find bags that fit, without them being 30 gallonsLike the size and shape of this can - lower than most but wider making it seem smaller but seems to hold more than the same sized round cans. Motion sensor works well and easy to change bags. The black stainless matches our black stainless appliances perfectly. Came very quickly.
