Print on the instructions is so small it can’t be read without a magnifying glassI actually like this product, it has a nice finish, is heavy gauge and well manufactured. HOWEVER. Despite the fact that it looks and measures like it will fit Insinkerator, the tabs on the mounting flange are 3/16" deeper than the Insinkerator mounting flange (picture.) The Insinkerator tabs are nearly flush with the mounting flange rim, giving a much tighter fit. The gasket is also different. Same thickness and diameter, but the lip that goes under the disposal flange has a different depth. You will NEVER get the disposal tight enough to the sink flance. I have installed a lot of disposals over the years, and it took me a while to figure this out. So, I used the old mounting flange and bought an Insinkerator gasket, and that worked fine.POINT OF STORY: You might as well just buy an Insinkerator Mount kit and new gasket. I kept my CLEESINK flange (picture) because I don't like the way Insinkerator embosses their brand and "Food Waste Disposer" on the flange (picture) because it fills with crud and is impossible to clean.Fixed my sink in less than 15min.Replaced drain to garbage disposal. New setup came with all new gaskets needed. Purchased other side sink drain locally because both were leaking. Local store garbage disposal drain didn’t come with the bottom ring or gasket.Specs are off. As you tighten the unite to the sink, the retaining ring easily slips out of its groove. Couldn’t get it tight enough with its ring before it was pushed out of the slot. I had to use the old ring to get it snug. But still not tight enough to keep it from leaking. Will need extra sealant.Seem just to be ok, and get you by.I’m happy with how the product looks and matches my sink perfectly. My only complaint is that there were no directions for installation. Thank you YouTube. If you are buying this because you have a garbage disposal without out a lower mounting ring, dont buy this. the Ring they supply the tabs that grab the upper mounting assembly are about 1/4" longer than on a genuine insinkerator mount. If you dont use the supplied flange (becuase you have a different colored sink it will almost certainly not work. The only way to make this work would be to bend the tabs down further and cut off the excess, not a normal task. Even using the supplied flange, the disposal was still fairly loose even when tightened all the way.Great stoppers, made of a silicone type material, fit very well, and looks like it will last. must say that after the first shipment was lost in the mail, the company did send a second shipment that did actually arrive. Good customer service, thank you.
