I had a hard time finding little trash bags for a very small trash can. I actually considered using dog poo bags, but they were slightly too small. (Photo gives you a sense of the size relative to a dog bag.) I'm not sure of the exact size of my trash can (it's actually more like a little vase) but I'm pretty sure it's one gallon; the Cand 1.6 gallon bags are perfect, and surprisingly durable. I expected them to be about as strong as the clear plastic trash bags that you sometimes find in hotel rooms, but these are actually stronger.
