My kids make fun if me for buying this commercial grade receptacle, but I love it so much. Its sturdy, and large enough that we only need to empty it once a week, I’m very happy about that.We bought four of these for our church. We were finishing up a building project and funds were tight so decided to give these a go because they are so much more affordable than other decorative garbage cans. They have worked well for us and they do look nice. I was a little disheartened when we received them, they come flat packed and the black part is a corrugated plastic tube that was folded flat for shipping. It didn't look great and I expected it to look bad once assembled. However, everything came together nice and the black piece takes on a perfect round shape. Assembly is difficult. The middle fits into the base and a ring on the top. It's a tight fit but ultimately it goes together. The main downside here is that clean up is difficult. I had an instance where a can ended up with a lot of liquid in the bottom. Because these cans are multiple pieces you can't simply tip the can over and drain it as liquid will run through all the different cracks. Cleaning the inside was a big pain. However, I am generally happy with this as something that holds garbage bags and looks nice. These cans are all plastic. The top and bottom are painted metallic silver. The paint is nice, though you can see unpainted plastic on the lip of the bottom piece. This is not something people will notice unless you are closely inspecting the garbage can.Hard to assembleExtremely satisfied with this product. Honestly, I assumed since it was 1/2 the price that it would also be 1/2 the quality, but I took a chance and I’m so pleased with it. I own a restaurant and it’s a perfect fit for the lobby and it’s very sturdy. Don’t let the price fool you!sterdy and easy asseblyMaybe mine was just a bad apple in the bunch but it didn’t last long at all. I was really disappointed because I liked the design but there were cuts in the side in several places when I got it and it just ripped apart. May be a good product and maybe mine was just defective.The trash receptacle requires assembly, which is documented in the product listing. I expected assembly. However, I did NOT expect the package to arrive flat so that the polyurethane that makes up the rectangular walls is horribly disfigures (as in flat, like a bedsheet!). The next surprise was the the flimsy fasteners provided simply did not fit into the pre-drilled holes.To make this work, I bought 16 cotter pins and 30 1/8" flat washers, and had another person help with assembly. The instructions are a joke (totally useless and inaccurate in any language).It is assembled and looks disfigured due to the way the polyurethane was stored (flat). It does work, but it is not anything that a business would want displayed (in my opinion). As other reviewers have said, I will pay more next time AND read the the reviews.BUYER BEWARE!We use this on our small patio and it works well. Heavy enough that wont blow away and light enough that staff can cary inside at the end of day.I purchased this for my home office, I chose the decals of “waste” and “paper” but there is also “cans” and “plastic”, maybe another option, I don’t remember.This is made of corrugated plastic, I had it assembled in a matter of minutes. There are instructions but by the time I opened the box they were in, I had it set up and I was looking for the decals.I could see myself ordering more of these for outdoor events, weighted down with some bricks.Being indoors, I am sure mine will last years and years, but for an outdoor wedding, concert, campground, etc… these would be great, if they deteriorate or are no longer needed, they can be recycled themselves.Kinda dissapointed because it’s made out of cardboard but it works fine but it didn’t look like cardboard but it’s my fault for not reading properlyNot useable as a container that would handle garbage ...its plastic coated cardboard .......It feels like plastic coated cardboard ........sooooooo disappointedVery fancy and looks great.
